The CD "Klaverinstrument" had a number of very specific requests from Viggo. Four of his instruments were featured, the Harpsicord, the Klavikord (which is extremely quiet), the Virginals and the Bechstein 1888 Grand Piano.

The setting was the small hall in the House of Culture "Anders" in Höör, of which Viggo was a strong founder and creator. Acoustics were tricky and no sound insulation from outside environment (traffic, birds nesting on the roof etc) meant that we were not merely fighting the scores in editing... but this was the place where Viggo had spent the better part of his life creating and was a natural place for the recording. Viggo was fighting cancer and felt this was his last chance to record this selection of music, while he was still able to play. Medicines were taking a great toll on his hands and some days he had difficulties to play. He passed a year later, playing a concert just the night before he died. It was a great honor to have been involved in this recording, the final statement of a great musician who has contributed to the cultural life in so many ways. Rest in peace, Viggo.

Stora kompositörers verk fångas verbalt bäst i motsatser: Nielsens abrupta lynnighet, originella enkelhet, känslofulla antiromantik, folkliga konstfullhet, fryntliga bufflighet.

Jan is most famous for his participation in the film / play "Sven Klangs Kvintett". He has composed lot´s of music for different plays during a full life as an actor / musician. This record serves as a sort of musical biography, a collection of the best from all shows from the mid 70´s up to the recording date.

Jan had a specific request – to use the small music house in his back yard, where his terrific Steinway grand piano is located, as a recording studio.
With acoustic screens, duvets and blankets hanging from the roof we set the acoustics right for the (sometimes up to eight piece!) band to record live. Running cables out of the window and through the garden, in to the kitchen of the main house, I set up mission control on a coffee table. Jan´s backyard is certainly the best green room I´ve ever seen!

Review in Classical CD´s weekly by Graham Rickson (13 dec 2014):
"Listeners unfamiliar with European Christmas celebrations should head straight for this unpretentious compilation. Many of the numbers are well-known British and American ones, but the programme also reflects the polyglot nature of the Little Venice Ensemble´s membership.

The fun starts with a spare solo viola transcription of the Swedish folksong "Bereden väg för herran", followed by an enchanting arrangement of the modern carol "I Bethlehem" by Jerker Leijon. It´s sublime. As is the gorgeous childrens´ carol "Bethlehems Stjärna", which should make sensitive listeners´ eyes water. Max Reger´s "Mariae Wiegenlied" is unexpectedly beautiful, as is a neat arrangement of the Austrian carol "Still, Still, Still". Percy Grainger´s "Sussex Mummers" is heard in a mellifluous string transcription. This is a fantastic disc, and one which you´d happily listen to all year round. Familiar pleasures are interspersed with alluring rarities. Soprano Susanna Andersson´s pure-toned vocals are a consistent pleasure, and the chamber arrangements invariably charm."

Review in OPUS 36 magazine, sept-okt 2011 (in Swedish) by Ladislaus Horatius:
"GEDIGEN PRESTATION HARALD GENZMER

CD Review (in Swedish) in Opus Magazine october 2010 by Jerker Sjöqvist:
"Behagfulla Goldbergvariationer.

Review (2009) of Bach Goldberg Variations CD by Nick Peros at Phoenix Classical
"Johan Hugosson displays a real artistic sensitivity to this repertoire - he has remarkable technique and a poetic understanding of these works, offering fresh, new insights that are stirring and engaging for the listener."

Chamber music / theatre tour around Sweden with actor Henric Holmberg and string quartet Indra Quartet.

A wonderful show in which Henric transforms his monolog (originally a radio show) into an entertaining history lesson about Dmitri Schostakovitschs and two of his string quartets, no 4 and 8 and making a perfect presentation of the Indra Quartet performing said material.

The requirement was to run a CD with excerpts from different recordings of Dmitri Schostakovitsch string quartet no 4, where a few of them were being artistically deliberat concerning a certain note in the score...
The rig was ultracompact, fitted in a suitcase to be able to travel by train, car and bus. One lavalier microphone, two small speakers and a CD-player. The excerpts had to be remastered to fit together as a presentation, due to very different age, soundquality and dynamics in the recordings. The job also required a tender touch to follow the timing and nuances of the play – the strings were all non-miced and the actor was supposed to blend as though he also were un-miced. Henric pretended to play music tracks with a fake remote control while I was the one actually controlling the CD-player, making it look authentic.

The show was also filmed and broadcasted by SVT, Swedish national television company.
